LSC Group Company History

LSC Group was founded in 1988 to offer consultancy support and software tools to the fast growing Integrated Logistic Support community. Since then we have established an enviable reputation for our innovative approach to solving customer problems. This has entailed the strengthening of our logistic consulting capability through the addition of both strategic and desktop software development capabilities across asset management, electronic documentation and supply chain management, backed by an investment in technology that maintains our solutions at the leading edge of IT. Significant events in the history of LSC Group are:

  • 1998 - LSC Group acquired by the incumbent management team
  • 1998 - Acquired the aerospace division of Brandt Computer Holdings
  • 1999 - Acquired the LOCAM Computer Aided Process Planning Business from SER Systems Limited.
  • 2000 - Acquired the Weymouth-based technical authoring company, Solvera, from the Pennant International Group
  • 2001 - LSC Group acquired by Devonport Management LTD (DML)
  • 2007 - DML acquired by the Babcock Marine Division of the Babcock International Group PLC. LSC Group continues to operate as a provider of high-quality, impartial support solutions.

Through acquisitions and organic growth, LSC Group has maintained a strong growth profile since the in-house acquisition and now employs some 180 people, all of whom are committed to meeting the Company's purpose and vision.
