LSC Group Management Team

LSC Group's Board of Directors are:

 

George Webb - Managing Director

George was appointed Managing Director of LSC Group in January 2009 he has considerable experience in both the Information Technology and Defence marketplaces. George's early career, some 20 years, was spent in Information Technology where he led the UK's leading software house focused on providing Fleet and Asset Management Solutions. TRANMAN Fleet Software is still widely recognised as the Market Leader in the UK Public Sector. George more recently worked for LEX/RAC where he helped win, and then run, the UK White Fleet contract, a £100m p.a. contract to supply on an availability basis 15,000 Car and Commercial vehicles to the MOD. His time at LEX/RAC culminated in leading the team which was successful in winning then delivering the £600m PFI  to deliver C Vehicle Capability to the British Army. When LEX Defence was acquired by VT Group George continued to run White Fleet and C Vehicles together with the Training Schools at Borden, Arborfield and Bovington. 

 

Kieron Bramall - Business Director

Kieron heads up the development of our business in the Land, Air, Maritime & Energy domains. Kieron joined LSC Group in 2009 from Babcock International Group where he was responsible for a number of Strategy and Business Development projects.  Kieron joined LSC as Strategy and Business Development Director, but has been responsible for developing and delivering business in our Land, Air, Maritime & Energy markets since October 2010. Kieron's background before joining Babcock included 7 years with the Royal Navy as Operations and Intelligence Officer. On leaving the Navy Kieron embarked on a career in consultancy, holding management roles in Deloitte and PwC. 

 


Dr Mark Parsons - Technical Director

 

Mark leads the Technical Services Team, and is responsible for our engineering and management support services. With LSC Group since 1999, he is an experienced engineering and business executive specialising in public sector procurement and the through-life management of complex assets and operations. Most recently Mark has been involved in the strategic development of the company, including new market capture and capability planning. A Chartered Physicist, Mark holds a BSc and PhD in Physics from Loughborough University, and an MBA from Warwick Business School.

 

 


Steve Penver – Technical Director

Steve has over 15 years experience in the analysis, design and implementation of data management solutions. He joined LSC Group in 2004 as a Technical Consultant and Programme manager until 2005 where he took on the role of Chief Technical Architect responsible for the company product portfolio and technical strategy. Steve was the senior manager of LSC Group’s E&AM, IKM and Commercial software and related services, a post he had occupied for 2 years. Steve is now the Technology Director responsible for all software delivery programmes. During his time at LSC Group Steve has been fortunate enough to be involved with a number of high-profile projects and solutions including, systems to support the refit of the Vanguard class of Nuclear Submarines, Engineering and Asset Management solutions deployed in the air sector and the development and use of Information Standards within of the UK MoD. Prior to his time at LSC Group Steve was a successful independent technical consultant where he spent over 6 years working across a wide range of market sectors, including Defence, Criminal Intelligence and Automotive Manufacturing.

 

Paul Atkin - Corporate Services Director

Paul is a Chartered Accountant with significant experience in commercial and financial operations. Paul has held Finance Director posts for over 12 years, and has worked for a number of large engineering consultancies and software companies including Romax Technology and Ricardo PLC. Paul joined the company in January 2012, after working for our sister company Frazer-Nash, and is responsible for all corporate services support including Human Resources, Finance, Commercial, Administration and Facilities.
