Supportability & ILS Management
LSC Group has built up an invaluable range of contract, project and support management skills, focused on value for money. We have extensive experience in developing and managing requirements, working on behalf of either the customer or supplier depending on the project. This experience places us in a prime position to ensure that value for money continues to be delivered effectively through the life cycle of an equipment or system.
Although all the engineering disciplines associated with Support Engineering may be performed individually; in order to achieve maximum benefit, they must be integrated into a managed process. This is known as ILS Management and ensures, for each programme, a suite of engineering analyses that are specifically tailored to provide maximum synergistic value to that programme.
LSC Group can provide supportability and ILS managers to develop and implement support strategies focussed on operational effectiveness and support optimisation at minimum Whole Life Cost. Activities such as supplier management, risk management, configuration management and obsolescence management are all areas of expertise provided by LSC Group’s supportability and ILS managers.
LSC Group has extensive involvement across the full spectrum of defence and commercial supportability and ILS programmes. We have provided ILS managers and consultants for a wide range of programmes on behalf of a customer base which includes DML, BAE SYSTEMS, General Dynamics, Raytheon and, particularly, the UK MoD.
