In addition to the due importance placed on ethical conduct, the rightful accountability of MoD to provide value for taxpayers’ money is increasing the visibility and dependence on robust governance policies. Additionally, the growing acceptance of the requirement to assess military support solutions from end to end (OEM’s to battlefield and back), and from cradle to grave (design to disposal) has helped raise the impetus on organisations (both MoD and Industry) to implement appropriate programme management and governance procedures.
