LSC Group will be exhibiting and have a representative on the panel of the Shephard Group Defence IT event taking place in April.

This event - subtitled 'Making sense of the Team Defence information business' - will focus on the challenges being faced in delivering secure information sharing solutions within the Defence environment.

LSC Group will showcase its capability within this arena including its information sharing, data quality and collaborative working solutions.

AIRInG Dinner, 10th

Piccadilly, London

LSC Group will be taking a table at the AIRInG Dinner ADS.

The event will see guest speaker Air Marshal Anderson speak about the formation and mandate of his new department and further how it will interact with bodies such as the CAA/FAA.  In addition, he will comment upon the impact of the Haddon-Cave enquiry, the harmonisation of European military airworthiness and in particular rules of engagement change for companies whose contracts may be affected by new airworthiness rules and regulations generated and managed by the MAA.

UKCeB Breakfast Briefings, 15th

Cranfield - Delivering Availability and Capability, 30th - 1st July

The Defence Academy, Shrivenham

LSC Group’s Kelly Bower and Chris Lambert will be delivering a presentation at this event titled ‘What is the key to successful Availability contracting?’.

Kelly and Chris will explore the progress that the MoD is making in delivering successful Availability contracts in support of the ‘transformation staircase’. LSC Group asks what does – and should – Availability and Capability contracting deliver? What is the definition of effective and successful Availability contracting? What building blocks are required for an operationally viable and cost-effective move from traditional arrangements to more innovative support contracts?

The event aims to bring together both defence personnel and industry for an open discussion in order to exploit the knowledge gained so far with contracting for Availability and Capability, and providing the opportunity to improve the process and contracts for delivery of Availability and Capability in the future. It is run over two days to maximise the opportunity for interaction and exchange of ideas.

Capability Ground Manoeuvre Industry Day and Dinner, 6th

LSC Group will be taking a table at the AIRInG Dinner ADS.

The Industry day focuses on the delivery of the key goals to improve the soldiers’ personal equipment and training, whilst maintaining an All-arms and joint Warfighting Capability, in the context of Defence’s main effort to support current operations, concurrent with preparation for a strategic Defence Review.

LSC Group will be both attending the Industry day, and will also be taking a table at the dinner.

UKCeB Supportability Engineering, 15th

Following on from the SE Seminar and the MOD TLS Seminar in 2009 which identified through life support in the light of commercial realities as a major concern – how can we keep the customer satisfied with less money from the ever shrinking public purse?

This seminar will explore the various concerns and keynote speakers will be speaking on commercial relationships for lower through life costs from an industry and MOD perspective. There will also be updates on the MOD Joint Support Chain and the Defence Support Review.

The Farnborough International Air show (FIA) is one of the world’s most iconic global aviation events. This year the show is certain to be the most exciting to date, with it’s exhibition halls, flying displays and UAV pavilion. FIA will evolve it’s business theme to include a number of new networking initiatives such as a themed conference and seminar programme, a ‘Meet Your  Buyer’ event, a day dedicated to International Futures for Youth, and a dedicated ‘Space Zone’ and enhanced UAV presence.
