We are lead sponsor of Defence IT 2011. We will be assisting Shephard Group and UKCeB in organising this event and will feature speakers on the agenda covering information technology issues facing the Defence environment.

Our panel representatives will include:

Security Cleared Expo, 5th

Brunel’s Old Station, Bristol

We are exhibiting at the Security Cleared Expo taking place in Bristol. This event attracts a number of senior candidates with high level security clearance operating across a variety of sectors including Defence, Engineering, IT and Nuclear.
This event attracts a number of key Defence companies including Thales, General Dynamics, Rolls-Royce, BMT Defence and Harmonic.
The event is free to attend so simply register your interest and come along and visit our stand.

Congility S1000D, 24th

Arora Hotel Gatwick, Crawley

Congility S1000D is the UK event for anyone that currently needs to produce, evaluate or implement S1000D. The event covers a range of topics including S1000D, Business Rules, the Software Selection process and addressing legacy data.
Our Technical Documentation expert, Dennis Hoyland, will be speaking at the conference. Dennis will be delivering an overview of the drivers of the development of S1000D looking at why it has gained international success and who is using it today.

Delivering Availability & Capability, 21-22nd

Defence Academy, Shrivenham

The Delivering Availability & Capability event is always a popular event, focusing on the current experience of a wide range of approaches to contracting for availability and capability across the Defence environment.

Kelly Bower, our Contracting for Support expert, will be presenting a session looking at whether Availability and Capability contracting are still relevant, and what building blocks are required for an operationally viable and cost-effective move from traditional contracting arrangement to more innovative through-life contracts

Kelly has been involved in the development, implementation, improvement and performance management of high profile and high value Availability Support solutions in the Air domain since 2002, more recently involved in how lessons learned from the Air domain can help programmes in other sectors including Land Transformation.

Protected Mobility 2011, 22-23rd

Millbrook Proving Ground

The Protected Mobility event is one of the most important events in the calendar for those involved in the equipment support and sustainment of the UK Armed Forces. This event brings together the acquisition and support community with military stakeholders and industry organisation for two days of discussion, briefings, demonstration and displays.

The event also features a UK MOD Combat Wheels Group Sustainment conference, where LSC Group will be presenting.

LSC Group will be exhibiting at this event also.

Defence & Security Equipment International (DSEi)

We will be attending the DSEi exhibition in September as part of a Babcock contingent. The event attracts a prestigious list of key personnel across the Defence industry, and the event boasts being the world’s largest fully integrated defence and security exhibition.

We are please to announce that we will be headline sponsoring this event in aid of the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen Families Association (SSAFA) Forces Help. LSC Group is a keen supporter of this cause raising over £23,000 for the charity in 2010.

ADS Maritime Capability Industry Dinner, 27th

Central London

As part of the two day Maritime Capability Industry Days delivered by ADS, LSC Group will be networking with a number of Maritime stakeholders during the evening Reception and Dinner held on 27th September.

This event provides a unique opportunity to learn about the challenges facing the four head of capability within the Maritime environment, focusing on key priorities for industrial support.

The Soldier, Sailors, Airmen Families Association (SSAFA) Forces Help Defence Industry Dinner brings together International Defence Industry with UK Senior Military. This flagshp event has earned the reputation as an industry 'must attend', we will be attending the event to show our continued support.

We are lead sponsor of Military Logistics 2011, following on from our partnership in 2010. We will be involved in the agenda over the two days, presenting an industry view of the logistics arena, based on our domain knowledge and experience.
Although still to be defined, we will focus on our expertise across the Land, Air and Maritime domains from Contracting for Support to delivering Logistic Support programmes that maintain asset availability.
