Process design is a fundamental part of the improvement in the way that an organisation operates. However, traditional process design can often fail to consider the people and technology issues that changes to business processes can necessitate.
LSC Group uses workflow technology, both within our own organisation and with our customers, to allow the enforcement of repeatable, auditable processes, but also provides a system to allow users to perform ad-hoc communication and sharing. By combining active process management with a robust document and content management architecture, we have developed a rigorous business process methodology. Our workflow technology provides graphical process definition and a complete range of industry standard functionality to manage and control processes.
LSC Group can provide an out of the box capability for deployment in very short timescales, and also undertake the necessary analysis and development to customise workflows to meet customer needs. Our 'process automation' approach is proven within defence and non-defence organisations, and across technical and business processes. For example, using workflow technology we have automated some 48 engineering processes within a single Ministry of Defence procurement team (Integrated Project Team), linked to a Commitment Management System.
