The UK Apache Attack Helicopter is a significant and deadly weapon system. The programme, a multi-million pound project, involved a complex and geographically dispersed supply chain.
With in-service timescales tight, and with the added pressures associated with coordinating such a complex programme, the need to implement a comprehensive and pragmatic approach to the Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) activity was critical to the success of the platform.
LSC Group has worked in partnership with the Apache programme since 1996, providing project support and through-life management expertise to support the activities associated with bringing the helicopter into service and the ongoing management of the programme.
